Generally, electronic commerce means making an electronic order in the online shopping mall or website and receiving the parcel service purchases.
Definition Express cargo service or Express Mail Service (EMS) is usually used for fastdelivery and easy tracking of goods.
Transaction types
Direct delivery: Ordering and paying directly on an overseas shopping website and receiving goods directly
Delivery service: Ordering and making payments directly on the overseas shopping website. A delivery company receives the ordered goods at the local warehouse and delivers the product to the customer
Forwarding service: Delegating to the agency all the procedures from purchase to delivery by paying the price of goods, distribution cost, commission, etc.
Import clearance Procedures
Procedures for customs clearance of electronic commerce goods are decided by transportation means.
If an express cargo company transports and takes in the goods, the customs clearance procedure for express cargo shall be applied.
If the goods are taken in through the post office, the customs clearance procedure for postal items shall be applied.
If a general transportation company transports and takes in the goods, the general import clearance procedures shall be applied.
