The KCS has been carrying out 「Customs Modernization Consulting Project」 which is financed by Korea’s ODA (grant) for 3 to 4 recipient countries each year with an aim to share Korea’s experience in customs modernization. This consulting project is to identify the current situation of the customs administration in the recipient country to propose an optimal future model. To date, we have conducted the project for a total of 29 countries and contributed to their customs modernization since 2012.
The countries who send us the LoI (letter of intent) to participate in the said project will be considered as candidate countries and go through the selection process to determine the final candidates. After the internal selection for candidates, the KCS experts will undertake a feasibility study (F/S). With the F/S report and the PCP (project concept paper), the projects for candidate countries will be under deliberations by the Korean government to finalize the project recipients.
Should you be interested in participating in the project, please send us your LoI to unipass@korea.kr
